ok people - it's no secret that Minogue is a huge gay icon, so what would you say is her most gay iconic song??? (this is for all you breeders out there too!)
as a gay myself i think i would say 'Your Disco Needs You' is the winner, i don't know if you guys have seen it as it was only released in Germany (in the uk we got 'Please Stay' instead) i managed to get hold of the video on a trip over europe) in it she's wearing a hot amber coloured wig (she looks ace) and a two differnt tight outifts, one is a sparkly number, red top with twinkly jewels and then american flag lyrca pants with white boots and holding a cane, the second is a very bananarama (think the venus video) lyrac black and white striped mini dress with chunky black belt, kinda like a hot burglar!! with a black beret, the video is so gay its marvn gay!! all flashing lights and hunbdreds of marching kylies walkin in rows!!!

from IMDB: Pop singer Kylie Minogue is "feeling fine" after a cancerous lump was removed from her breast during surgery in a Melbourne, Australia, hospital on Friday. The hitmaker, 36, shocked her fans on Tuesday when she announced she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and subsequently cancelled the Australian and Asian legs of her Showgirl world tour. With her parents Ron and Carol, singer sister Dannii, cameraman brother Brendan and French actor boyfriend Olivier Martinez nearby, Minogue was operated on by top surgeon Jenny Senior at the city's St Frances Xavier Cabrini Hospital. Dr Senior says, "I am very pleased to be able to confirm that the operation was successful. I feel confident that we caught the cancer in time and that she is now on the road to complete recovery. Kylie has been the perfect patient and has charmed all my staff. I just wish I could have met her under happier circumstances. Kylie is now resting after the operation and her spirits are high and she is feeling fine. She has her family and friends around her. Finally, Kylie has asked me to pass on her thanks once again to all who have expressed their love and concern for her. Your support has certainly helped her through a tough time." Meanwhile Australia's Cancer Council charity has created a special Kylie Minogue Breast Cancer Fund and received $6,000 in donations in its first 24 hours.

hey kylie peeps. the new video off ultimate kylie has premiered overseas and you can check it out at kylie.com it is called "giving you up" and it has a kinda "attack of the 50 ft woman" theme, with a giant glammed out kylie walking through a cityscape pausing to dance for various boys. kinda corny, but kylie looks awesome. lots of bootie shots, ofcourse. has anybody else seen it?

has anyone seen this movie? I just Bought it off the internet but Because it's a aussie flick, it won't play on my TV. Apparently I need some kind of special tv setting in order to get the picture on screen. That makes me so choked!!!
I'm stoked to see it, cause apparently she plays a drug addict in the rave culture. I would love to hear feedback on it, if anyone's seen it.

What a kick ass track! I just bought it on record a couple of weeks ago, and i love all the remixes too! Sometimes I hate living in North America, cause we never hear of her stuff here until it's like half a year old over in Europe and Australia. We probably won't even get to the music video on our music station.
Anyways, it's great and I play it at parties all the time!

KYLIE Minogue will bring the year's most ambitious tour to Melbourne, her home town, in July.

Minogue has agreed on a string of US dates next February and has also signalled an intention to do Australian dates.
Sources close to Minogue said she has approved a preliminary list of dates for a world tour interspersed with long breaks to spend quality time with boyfriend, actor Olivier Martinez.

Tour dates presented to Minogue suggest a June and July run for her Australian shows, sources said.

Promoter Michael Gudinski will travel to London today to discuss Minogue's tour plans.

Minogue is said to be planning a hi-tech spectacle with "old skool" twists.

"It will be revolutionary," Gudinski said yesterday. "Kylie's shows have consistently got more intricate, more advanced and more hi-tech. She spares no expense and to her, the word impossible doesn't exist."

Her commitment to a US arena tour is significant, and marks a concerted push into that territory.

Minogue's latest album, Body Language, is cleverly trans-Atlantic, with hip hop-influenced tracks geared to the US market.

"It is exciting to see that, after all this time, she has committed to taking a sizeable tour to America," Gudinski said. "This is the first time ever for Kylie."

Minogue told the Herald Sun: "There is a whole lot of work ahead, but it's a pleasure to be able to create a show with material that is so different to anything I've done before."

Minogue's tour spearheads a list of strongly tipped 2004 tours by The Eagles, Cher and U2.
